John is Berkshire Hathaway's lead commercial and luxury broker in New Mexico. Joining Berkshire Hathaway Taos Real Estate in 2019, John brings his 35 years’ experience from law, then real estate and development to the firm. After receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas and legal practice in Colorado, including representation of Aspen Ski Corp and Beaver Creek Resort, John came to New Mexico in 1988 to serve the development, entitlement, restructuring, and then liquidation, of development properties for PNM’s commercial and residential development subsidiaries in the five western states of New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Arizona and Utah. Other notable domestic and international transactions for public and private companies have ranged from ski, golf, hospitality, glamping and agritourism resort developments and aviation related properties across the United States and South America.
